Paderu Mandal, Alluri Sitarama Raju District – A heartwarming act of compassion has brought relief to a struggling tribal family in the remote village of Thotalagondi, located in Kinchuru Panchayat. The family of Girijanudu (tribal man) Mr. Jirugula Lakshmayya, who has three children, had been living in severe poverty without proper shelter or adequate food.
Their plight came to light after videos and images of their dire living conditions surfaced on social media, prompting widespread sympathy. Moved by their situation, Paderu MLA Matsyaraasa Visweshwara Raju took swift action. He informed Army Lieutenant Colonel Neeraj Kumar of the 13th Battalion NCC, Visakhapatnam, about the family’s condition.
In response, Lieutenant Colonel Neeraj Kumar arranged for the immediate distribution of essential supplies. The family has now received groceries and daily necessities sufficient for three months.
