Komaram Bheem Asifabad District: Residents have expressed concern over illegal constructions on drainage canals in the outskirts of Kagaznagar town and within the limits of Burudaguda Gram Panchayat in Komaram Bheem Asifabad district.
According to locals, several canals and drainage channels meant for public use are being encroached upon and illegal structures are being built. They allege that despite these encroachments taking place openly, officials and public representatives are turning a blind eye to the issue.

Due to the blockage of canals, dirty water is stagnating in many areas, leading to an increase in mosquitoes and foul smell. Residents say that the situation is affecting public health and many people are falling ill.
Locals fear that the situation may become worse during the rainy season, as there will be no proper passage for wastewater to flow out, causing severe water stagnation.
The residents have urged the authorities to take strict action against those who have encroached upon the drains, remove the illegal constructions, and restore the drainage system at the earliest.
