Karimnagar Commissioner Goush Alam Holds Review Meeting with Blue Colts Constables

Karimnagar : Police Commissioner of Karimnagar,  Goush Alam, IPS, held a review meeting on Monday with Blue Colts constables at the Commissionerate headquarters’ conference hall. During the session, he emphasized the importance of responding immediately to complaints received through Dial 100.

The Commissioner instructed Blue Colts personnel to regularly inspect their designated point books and maintain a close watch on rowdy-sheeters, history-sheeters, and anti-social elements, ensuring their movements are tracked and documented appropriately.

With the upcoming Vinayaka Navaratri celebrations, Commissioner Goush Alam stressed the need for heightened vigilance. He directed the constables to educate Ganesh pandal organizers on adhering to police guidelines, particularly highlighting the mandatory installation of at least one CCTV camera at every pandal.

He further informed that the Commissionerate has already procured 50 CCTV cameras and plans to purchase 50 more. These cameras will be installed at key junctions and sensitive areas. The Blue Colts officers have been trained in camera installation, geo-tagging, and footage retrieval when necessary.

The Commissioner urged all personnel to ensure the festivals are conducted peacefully and safely, maintaining law and order throughout the celebrations.

The meeting was attended by Additional DCP Venkataramana, ACP CCB Srinivas G, Inspectors Sarilal, Venkatesh, and other officials and staff.
