Kumuram Bheem Asifabad: Artificial Intelligence (AI) based teaching is currently being implemented in 14 primary and upper primary schools in Kumuram Bheem Asifabad district, and plans are underway to extend the program to four more schools soon, said District Academic Monitoring Officer Uppulati Srinivas.
He was speaking at a training programme held at Fatima Convent High School in Kagaznagar. As part of the Fundamental Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) initiative, special teaching is being provided to academically lagging students of Classes 3, 4, and 5 in Telugu, English, and Mathematics.
He explained that AI technology enables students to learn according to their individual learning pace. The method has shown significant improvement in students’ performance, particularly in Mathematics.
Mandal Education Officer Vasala Prabhakar and resource persons Shivaraj, Sanjay, Maheshwar, and Jalapathi Rao also participated in the programme.
