Demand to Register Murder Case in Kummera Incident : Krishna Manohar

The Telangana BC Welfare Association, through its Joint Mahabubnagar District President Krishna Manohar Goud, strongly condemned the attack on members of the Rajaka community in Kummera village of Nagarkurnool district. He described the incident as a brutal act driven by caste arrogance.

He stated that it is deeply unfortunate that members of backward communities were attacked while visiting a temple for darshan. He termed it inhuman that women and men were assaulted and that a two-month-old infant was allegedly kicked to death, calling it an act of extreme cruelty.

He demanded that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy personally intervene in the matter and appoint a Special Investigation Team (SIT). He also called for registering a murder case under Section 302 against the accused and ensuring speedy trial through a fast-track court with stringent punishment.

Further, he demanded immediate protection for the victims, compensation of ₹1 crore, and a government job for one family member. He urged the government to take strict action against caste-based discrimination prevailing in villages.
