District Collector Responds Swiftly to Komarada Ashram School Incident

Andhra Pradesh – Parvathipuram | Reporter TV Special Report : The Parvathipuram Manyam District Collector, N. Prabhakar Reddy, has responded immediately to a news report highlighting the severe issues faced by students at the Kemisila Government Tribal Welfare Boys’ Ashram School in Komarada Mandal.

The report, broadcast by Reporter TV under the title “Playing with Students’ Lives: Officials Turn a Blind Eye,” exposed alarming negligence and the poor conditions under which the students were living and studying.

Following the report, the Collector ordered an urgent inspection of the school. Acting on his instructions, Tribal Welfare Deputy Director R. Krishnaveni, along with her team, conducted a surprise visit to the Kemisila Ashram School. During the inspection, officials found that both the school and hostel facilities were being poorly maintained. They confirmed a lack of basic amenities and noted several grievances raised by the students.

Disciplinary Action Taken

In light of the findings, and under the direction of the District Collector, disciplinary proceedings have been initiated. Show-cause notices have been issued to the Headmaster and the Deputy Warden for negligence in duties and mismanagement of the institution.

This swift response from the Collector’s office underscores the seriousness of the matter and reaffirms the administration’s commitment to student welfare. The prompt investigation and accountability measures send a strong message regarding the importance of maintaining standards in educational and residential facilities for tribal students.
