Ahmedabad, June 12: The tragic plane crash near Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad has left the nation in mourning. The Air India flight AI 171, which had taken off for London, crashed shortly after takeoff, causing widespread shock and sorrow.
V. Sudhakar, the National President of the Print and Electronic Media Reporters Association, expressed deep grief over the incident. In a statement, he said, “This incident is extremely distressing. It is deeply saddening that so many lives were lost in this tragic accident.”
He extended heartfelt condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the crash. “I convey my deepest sympathies to the bereaved families. May the souls of the departed rest in peace,” he said.
Sudhakar also prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured in the accident, saying, “I sincerely hope and pray to the Almighty that those injured recover quickly.”
He further urged the authorities to take strict safety measures to prevent such unfortunate incidents in the future. Rescue and relief operations are currently underway, and officials have launched a thorough investigation into the cause of the crash.
