Patna: Leaders of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) on Friday unveiled their election manifesto, titled ‘Sankalp Patra’, for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections, promising sweeping measures aimed at ensuring the “overall development of the state.”
The manifesto was released at a press conference held at a hotel near Gandhi Maidan in Patna, in the presence of BJP National President J.P. Nadda, Union Ministers Chirag Paswan and Jitan Ram Manjhi, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, JDU National Working President Sanjay Jha, and other senior alliance leaders.
Speaking to reporters after the release, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and senior BJP leader Samrat Choudhary said the Sankalp Patra focuses on “every individual and every sector possible,” reiterating the alliance’s commitment to employment generation and social welfare.
“We provided jobs and employment opportunities in Bihar and will continue to do so in the future. The manifesto promises one crore jobs to youths in the state. We have prioritised farmers, women, the Dalit community, and all other sections of society. The NDA has worked for the people in the past and will keep doing so in the years to come,” Choudhary said.
Highlighting the alliance’s vision for a “new-age economy,” Choudhary said Bihar would be developed into a global workplace in the next five years. He added that gig workers and auto drivers would be provided with financial assistance and skill development opportunities.
“If NDA is voted to power in Bihar, we will set up manufacturing units in each district,” he announced.
The Deputy Chief Minister further said that if re-elected, the NDA government would offer Rs 10 lakh in financial support to people from Economically Backward Classes (EBC) and constitute a commission under the chairmanship of a Supreme Court judge to oversee its implementation.

Positioning the manifesto as a roadmap for inclusive growth, the NDA leaders expressed confidence that their development agenda would resonate with voters and help Bihar achieve “new heights of progress” in the coming years.
