AndhraPradesh – Janapadu village in Piduguralla mandal of Palnadu district witnessed an inspiring outreach program aimed at improving farmers’ livelihoods and making agriculture more profitable. As part of the “Annadatha Sukhibhava” door-to-door awareness campaign, the unique movement titled “Raitanna… Meekosam” (Farmer… For You) is gaining momentum.
Gurazala MLA Yarapatineni Srinivasa Rao personally visited the village to interact with farmers and understand their needs. During his visit, the MLA went door to door, distributing specially prepared pamphlets designed to educate farmers on sustainable and cost-effective farming practices.
He explained that by implementing five key principles of modern and natural farming, farmers can significantly reduce input costs while achieving higher profits. He emphasized that adopting nature-friendly agricultural methods enhances soil fertility and improves crop yields, ultimately ensuring long-term benefits for farming communities.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from local leaders, agriculture department staff, villagers, and a large number of farmers, reflecting the growing interest in innovative farming practices across the region.
The “Raitanna… Meekosam” initiative continues to strengthen its presence, with hopes of transforming agriculture into a more sustainable and profitable sector for farmers in Palnadu.
