Palnadu District : Superintendent of Police, Palnadu District, Kanchi Srinivasa Rao, IPS, has issued a directive stating that organizers of Ganesh Utsav celebrations must obtain prior police permission for setting up Ganesh pandals and organizing processions. He clarified that while permission is mandatory, there is no need to pay any fee or challan for setting up pandals.
To streamline the permission process, the SP urged citizens to follow the Single Window system introduced by the Andhra Pradesh State Government. Organizers are advised to form a committee and apply through the official portal https://ganeshutsav.net to obtain necessary approvals.

Date & Time of Ganesh Idol Immersion and Vehicle Details
Once the application is submitted, concerned police officials will inspect the location and then grant permission.
NOC & QR Code Download Process:

Download the No Objection Certificate (NOC) along with a QR Code containing the terms and conditions
The downloaded NOC and QR Code must be printed, laminated, and displayed at the pandal. Inspecting officers will verify these during visits.
SP’s Appeal to the Public:
SP Sri Kanchi Srinivasa Rao emphasized that all organizers must adhere to police guidelines and obtain required permissions to ensure a peaceful and safe Ganesh Utsav. He called upon the public to cooperate fully with law enforcement and celebrate the festival in a harmonious environment.
