Palnadu, Andhra Pradesh – Krishna Rao IPS officially assumed charge as the new Superintendent of Police (SP) for Palnadu district on Sunday. In a formal ceremony held at the District Police Office, the newly appointed officer took over the responsibilities from his predecessor.
Speaking to the media after taking charge, SP Krishna Rao emphasized his priorities for the district. “Ensuring law and order, controlling crime, and prioritizing the safety of women will be my main focus. I aim to implement people-friendly policing practices,” he said.
He also outlined his plans to enhance public safety through initiatives focused on road safety, drug eradication, and raising legal awareness among the youth. The SP highlighted the importance of building public trust in the police system, stating that efforts would be made to engage closely with the community.
The residents of Palnadu district, along with local leaders and police personnel, extended a warm welcome to the new SP and expressed their support for his leadership.
