Kagaznagar, Komaram Bheem Asifabad District: Illegal encroachments in the busy market area of Kagaznagar have become a major inconvenience for the public. Roads meant for public movement are increasingly being treated as private property by some shop owners, creating chaos and hardship for pedestrians.
Several traders in the market area have reportedly installed iron gates across public roads, completely blocking access. These gates are being used to convert public spaces into private parking areas, with cars and bikes parked freely, leaving no room even for pedestrians to walk.
Adding to the concern, private signboards have also been erected on these roads in clear violation of government regulations. Locals say that despite repeated complaints, municipal authorities have failed to take action, encouraging more such illegal activities.
Residents allege that the negligence of municipal officials is the primary reason behind the worsening situation. They demand immediate removal of illegal gates and strict action against those who have encroached upon public roads.
Citizens have strongly stated that no individual has the right to convert public roads into private property and have urged authorities to act without further delay.
