RTC Deploys 1240 Special Buses for Saluru Sri Shyamalamba Ammavari Jatara

Parvathipuram : The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (RTC) has announced massive transport arrangements for the upcoming Saluru Sri Shyamalamba Ammavari Jatara, which will take place from May 19 to 21. This year’s Jatara holds special significance as it is being organized after a long gap of 15 years, and authorities are expecting a record turnout of devotees.

Speaking at a press conference, RTC District Officer Srinivasa Rao stated that a total of 1,240 special buses will be deployed to facilitate smooth and convenient travel for pilgrims arriving from various parts of the region. He emphasized that these arrangements aim to ensure hassle-free access to Saluru during the peak festival period.

“The Shyamalamba Ammavari Jatara is a major cultural and religious event. We anticipate an unprecedented number of devotees this year due to the long hiatus, and our department is fully geared to meet the transportation demand,” he said.

RTC Depot Manager Durga, who also attended the media interaction, assured that all necessary precautions and logistics are in place to manage the surge in passenger flow, including increased staff, maintenance support, and passenger guidance systems.

The public is advised to utilize these special services and plan their travel in advance. RTC officials have also requested cooperation from devotees to maintain order and ensure a peaceful celebration of the Jatara.
