Telangana State- A shocking incident has come to light in Sitanagar outskirts under Vallakonda Panchayat in Kagaznagar mandal of Komaram Bheem Asifabad district, Telangana. A newborn baby was found abandoned in a cotton field, triggering panic and concern among locals.
According to reports, farmers who had gone to work in the fields noticed some movement in the bushes. Upon closer inspection, they were stunned to find a newborn wrapped in cloth and left there.
The locals immediately informed the police. Acting swiftly, police reached the spot and rescued the infant safely. The baby was then shifted to a nearby child care center for treatment and protection. Officials stated that the baby is currently in stable condition.
Police have registered a case and launched an investigation to identify those responsible for this inhumane act. Efforts are underway to trace the accused.
The incident has sparked outrage in the area, with many questioning how such a cruel act could be committed against a helpless newborn.
