New Delhi : The Defence Ministry on Saturday announced that the sale of tickets for the Republic Day Parade 2026, the Full Dress Rehearsal of Beating Retreat, and the main Beating Retreat ceremony will commence from January 5.
According to the Ministry, tickets for the Republic Day Parade, scheduled to be held on January 26, will be available at prices of ₹100 and ₹20. Sales will begin at 9 a.m. on January 5 and will continue until the daily quota is exhausted.
Tickets for the Full Dress Rehearsal of Beating Retreat, to be held on January 28, will be priced at ₹20, while tickets for the main Beating Retreat ceremony on January 29 will cost ₹100.
The Ministry said that tickets can be purchased online through the Aamantran website (www.aamantran.mod.gov.in). In addition, tickets will be available at designated booths upon production of an original photo identity card such as Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Driving Licence, PAN Card, Passport, or an ID card issued by the Central or state government. The same photo ID card must be carried by attendees for all three events.
Ticket counters will be set up at six locations: Sena Bhawan (near Gate No. 5 inside the boundary wall), Shastri Bhawan (near Gate No. 3 inside the boundary wall), Jantar Mantar (main gate inside the boundary wall), Parliament House (reception), Rajiv Chowk Metro Station (D-Block, near Gates No. 3 and 4), and Kashmere Gate Metro Station (concourse level, near Gate No. 8).
These counters will remain open from January 5 to January 14, between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., and again from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The Ministry also said that further information related to the Republic Day Celebrations 2026 can be accessed on the official website https://rashtraparv.mod.gov.in/.
Recalling last year’s experience, the Defence Ministry noted that due to unprecedented demand for tickets for the Republic Day Celebrations 2025, passes were also issued to witness the Full Dress Rehearsal of the parade held at Kartavya Path on January 23, 2025. The move, it said, reflected the government’s commitment to ensuring maximum public participation in the national celebrations.
