“Aksharam Andaga” Conference for Resolving Public Issues

Tirupati District, Chandragiri : A public grievance redressal meeting titled “Aksharam Andaga –  Parishkarame Agenda” was organized in Rayalapuram village under the initiative of ABN Andhra Jyothi with the objective of addressing local issues faced by residents.

Tirupati District Collector Venkateshwar and Chandragiri MLA Pulivarthi Nani attended the program as chief guests. They were warmly welcomed by the District ZP CEO, RDO, MRO, leaders of the coalition government, party workers, and local villagers.

During the meeting, residents brought several pressing issues to the attention of the district administration and the MLA. Key concerns included the need for a proper drainage system, CC roads, street lights, a community hall, water tanks, a visual shed, pensions, kidney disease treatment support, house site pattas, mosquito menace, and the construction of a cremation ground.

Parents also highlighted the lack of adequate facilities in the Rayalapuram school, stating that students are facing difficulties due to insufficient infrastructure. They urged authorities to resolve the issue at the earliest.

Local leaders requested the establishment of a veterinary care center in the Rayalapuram Panchayat. Villagers also appealed to the authorities to create employment opportunities for women by setting up small-scale industries in the area.

MLA Pulivarthi Nani suggested that allowing private vehicles into the Mahal area would boost tourism and support local businesses. The proposal was brought to the attention of the District Collector.

The Collector and MLA informed the public that plans have been prepared and sent to the state government to develop the region into “Swarna Chandragiri Mandal,” similar to Swarna Naravaripalli. The MLA also requested funds for road widening projects from Nagalamma Malupu to Srinivasamangapuram and from Chandragiri Tower Clock to Thondavada Flyover.

District Collector Venkateshwar and MLA Pulivarthi Nani assured villagers that steps would be taken to resolve all issues in Rayalapuram village. They also received petitions from residents during the program.

District officials, constituency and mandal-level officers, coalition government leaders, party workers, and villagers participated in large numbers.
