AP – Tirupati: In a move to strengthen law enforcement and improve public safety, Tirupati District Superintendent of Police L. Subbarayudu conducted a comprehensive review meeting with police officials across the district through a Zoom conference.
During the meeting, the SP assessed crime control measures, progress in investigations, and the status of pending cases. Additional SPs Venkata Rao (Administration) and Ravi Manoharachari (Law & Order), along with other senior officials, participated in the review.
The SP held detailed discussions on cases registered in each police station, seeking updates on investigation progress. Emphasizing the need for efficiency, he directed officials to expedite the disposal of pending cases and ensure that investigations are completed without delay.
Warning against negligence, L. Subbarayudu stressed that quality in investigations must not be compromised. He instructed officers to adopt a professional and responsible approach in handling cases and to ensure that offenders are brought to justice through strong and evidence-based investigations.
The SP also highlighted the importance of “visible policing” to curb crime and instill a sense of security among the public. He advised officers to proactively address minor disputes at an early stage to prevent escalation into major conflicts.
Special focus was placed on crimes against women and children, with directions to handle such cases on priority. Additionally, officials were instructed to conduct extensive awareness programs to educate the public about cyber crimes and preventive measures.
Reiterating the need for coordinated efforts, the SP stated that maintaining law and order in the district requires teamwork and commitment from all ranks. He urged police personnel to work diligently to enhance public trust and ensure a safe environment across Tirupati district.
