Hyderabad Police have imposed traffic restrictions in parts of the Old City in view of the procession marking Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti. Vehicular movement has been diverted on several key routes to ensure the smooth conduct of the rally.
The restrictions will remain in force from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Motorists have been advised to take alternative routes and plan their travel accordingly.
Diversions will be in place at Puranapul, Bahadurpura, Madina, City College, and Jiyaguda areas. RTC buses coming from Shamshabad and Attapur towards Puranapul will be diverted at Aramghar towards Chandrayangutta. Vehicles heading from Aramghar to Bahadurpura will be routed via Kishan Bagh and Kamatipura.
Traffic from Madina towards Bahadurpura will be diverted at Goodwill Café towards Parthi Wada. Vehicles from City College heading to Puranapul will be redirected towards MJ Bridge. Those coming from Jiyaguda will be diverted at Puranapul X Road towards Jummerat Bazaar.
Police have deployed heavy security at major junctions to ensure the procession passes off peacefully. Authorities stated that drone cameras are being used for continuous monitoring.
