Vikarabad District, Pargi: In a significant protest, students from the Telangana Tribal Welfare Girls College located at Tunkul Gadda, within the Pargi region of Vikarabad district, have expressed their frustration over the absence of Math and Chemistry teachers for the past two months.
The students have been facing immense difficulties due to the absence of faculty in their classes. As per the students, “We have been attending digital classes, but who are we supposed to approach when we have doubts? Only the faculty can address our issues and provide proper guidance,” they shared, highlighting the major challenges they have been facing in their studies.
Despite their concerns, the college administration, including the Principal, suggested that the students “manage with digital classes.” This approach has, however, been widely rejected by the students, who strongly believe that it is not a viable solution.
Continuing their protest, the students made it clear that they would not attend classes until proper faculty members are appointed. They have warned that they will continue their demonstration until the District Collector intervenes and ensures that teachers are appointed. If the authorities do not respond promptly, the students have stated that they will take their protest to the highways, effectively blocking the roads.
The students are hopeful that the district administration will take swift action to resolve the issue and restore normal academic functioning at the college.
