Hyderabad: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has released its annual rankings of the best-performing police stations across the country, placing Cyberabad’s Shamirpet Police Station at 7th nationally and 1st in Telangana, earning it widespread recognition for its efficiency and service standards.
The evaluation process assesses stations on a range of qualitative and quantitative parameters, including overall performance, quality of interaction with complainants, timely grievance redressal, record maintenance, cleanliness, landscaping, staff conduct, and effective use of the Crime and Criminal Tracking Network & Systems (CCTNS).
As part of the annual national assessment, Shamirpet Police Station emerged as the highest-ranked in Telangana under the Cyberabad Commissionerate. Senior officers—Medchal DCP Koti Reddy, Additional DCP Purushotham, ACP Balagangireddy, and Inspector Srinath—commended the station’s staff, noting that the achievement reflects consistently disciplined work rather than a singular effort.
Shamirpet Police Station is located on the main road near the Primary Health Center in Shamirpet, Secunderabad.
In the national rankings, Gazipur Police Station in Delhi secured the top position for 2025, recognized for its exceptional policing standards, crime control measures, and strong community partnerships.
