Encroachment has become rampant wherever vacant land is found. Government lands are being occupied illegally by erecting tin sheds and precast walls. In several cases, roads are being constructed on government land without official permission. Despite these violations, authorities are allegedly turning a blind eye, raising serious doubts about their role.

An incident of illegal construction on government land at the outskirts of Kamararam village in Chinna Shankarampet mandal of Medak district has become a major topic of local discussion. Allegations suggest that construction activities are continuing without any government approval, yet officials have failed to intervene.
According to complaints, SG Snacks Food Private Limited has allegedly obtained an illegal patta and initiated unauthorized construction on ceiling land located in Survey Nos. 166/1/A and 166/A/1/2. Pulapalli Yadagiri Yadav has formally lodged a complaint with government authorities regarding the issue.
However, the lack of response from officials has reportedly encouraged the rise of illegal constructions across the district. Critics allege that authorities are merely issuing routine notices in response to encroachment complaints and washing their hands of responsibility, instead of taking firm action to safeguard government land.
Whether the authorities will finally respond or continue their silence remains to be seen.
