Komaram Bheem Asifabad district: A major safety concern has emerged on the main road connecting Kukuda village to Bejjur in Bejjur mandal, where a damaged bridge is posing serious risks to commuters.
A large crack has developed at the bridge joint, right in the middle of the road, making travel extremely dangerous. The cement concrete at the joint has completely broken apart, creating a wide gap. This has become particularly hazardous for two-wheeler riders, whose tyres may get stuck in the crack.
The situation worsens during nighttime due to poor visibility. Vehicles moving at high speed may fail to notice the damaged portion, increasing the chances of accidents.
Hundreds of vehicles use this route daily, making the issue even more alarming. Local residents and commuters have urged concerned authorities and public representatives to respond immediately and carry out urgent repair works before any major accident occurs.
