Palnadu – Narasaraopet : Jagadish Adahalli assumed charge as the new Superintendent of Police (SP) of Palnadu district on Thursday at the district police headquarters in Narasaraopet.
District police officers and staff welcomed the new SP by presenting him with bouquets. After formally taking charge, SP Jagadish Adahalli interacted with the police personnel and reviewed the law and order situation, crime control measures and the functioning of the police department in the district.
Speaking on the occasion, the SP said that maintaining law and order, preventing crime and providing prompt and better police services to the public would be his top priorities.
He directed police officers and personnel to discharge their duties with dedication and in close coordination. He also emphasized the need to strengthen public confidence in the police department by responding effectively and promptly to people’s concerns.
Several police officers and district police office staff attended the programme.
