Andhrapradesh – Peddavaduguru: An 86-year-old woman, Mangala Kambakka, who was residing in new housing quarters at Chinnavaduguru in Peddavaduguru mandal of Anantapur district, passed away due to illness.
As the deceased had only a daughter and no other relatives to take responsibility, the family faced difficulty in conducting the last rites. In this situation, the “May I Help You” Foundation from Yadiki was approached for assistance.
Responding promptly, the foundation members traveled from Yadiki to Peddavaduguru and performed the funeral rites of Kambakka according to traditional customs.
Expressing her gratitude, the niece of the deceased said, “We were worried about who would perform the last rites in the absence of relatives. We are very thankful that you stepped forward and completed all the rituals.”
Inspired by such humanitarian service, Adavala Yugandhar from Kota Veedhi of Yadiki village has newly joined the “May I Help You” Foundation, informed President Bandaru Balakrishna.
The members who participated in the funeral service include Bandaru Balakrishna, Aluru Chandrasekhar Reddy, Sai Varaku Nagaraju, Kavala Sudhakar (Venkatampalli), T. Lakshmikantamma, and Adavala Yugandhar.
