The swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected Gooty Market Yard Chairman in Anantapur district was conducted in a grand and festive manner.
Prominent political leaders including Guntakal MLA Gummanur Jayaram, Labour Welfare Board Chairman Venkata Shivudu Yadav, BJP District President Konakandla Rajesh, and Janasena Guntakal Constituency In-Charge Vasagiri Manikantha graced the event as chief guests. Leaders and activists of the NDA alliance welcomed them with great enthusiasm at Gandhi Circle in Gooty town, celebrating the occasion with fireworks and massive garlands using cranes.
From the local R&B guest house, the elected Chairman, Jakkalacheruvu Pratap, along with thirteen other directors, proceeded in a grand vehicle rally to the Market Yard premises at RS. The swearing-in ceremony was administered by Market Yard Secretary Balaji Rao.
Speaking at the event, MLA Gummanur Jayaram said that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu is striving to include people from all castes and religions in political participation by creating equal opportunities. He also stated that the people of the state will greatly benefit from the ‘Super Six’ welfare schemes initiated by the government.
