Three-Tier Security in Place for Municipal Vote Counting in Karimnagar

Karimnagar District :  Police Commissioner Ghaus Alam has announced that three-tier security arrangements have been put in place at counting centers to ensure a transparent and peaceful counting process for the municipal elections. He addressed police officers and staff deployed for bandobast duties during a police briefing held at Astra Convention Hall in Karimnagar on Thursday.

Speaking on the occasion, the Commissioner stated that stringent measures have been implemented to prevent any disturbance to law and order around the counting centers. He instructed officials to work in coordination to maintain peace throughout the counting process.

Strict Checking Measures

Security checks will begin 100 meters away from the counting centers. Only individuals possessing valid entry passes will be allowed inside after thorough verification. Entry is strictly restricted to those carrying official identity cards issued by the Election Commission.

Prohibited Items

Agents, candidates, and staff are strictly prohibited from carrying matchboxes, cigarettes, water bottles, liquids, and other flammable materials into the counting premises. The Commissioner warned that these rules will be enforced strictly in the interest of security.

Continuous Surveillance

The Commissioner informed that constant patrolling will be conducted not only at the counting centers but across the city to maintain vigilance. Additional forces have been kept on standby if required.

Ban on Victory Rallies

After the declaration of results, victory rallies will not be permitted. The use of DJs has been completely banned. The Commissioner warned that any violation of the rules will result in seizure of DJ equipment and strict legal action against the concerned individuals.

Commissioner Ghaus Alam appealed to the public and representatives of political parties to cooperate with the police and help maintain a peaceful atmosphere during the election results.
