AP – Palnadu – Rompicherla : Police conducted a large-scale cordon and search operation in Santagudipadu village of Rompicherla mandal under the supervision of DSP M. Hanumantha Rao on Tuesday.
Around 80 police personnel participated in the special operation, which was carried out to strengthen law and order and prevent criminal activities in the area. Police teams thoroughly checked various locations in the village, including residential areas, streets, and vehicles.
During the search, several two-wheelers and auto-rickshaws found without valid documents were seized by the police. Officials verified vehicle records and inspected suspicious movements as part of the operation.
Speaking on the occasion, DSP M. Hanumantha Rao said that such surprise inspections would continue as part of efforts to curb crime and ensure public safety. He advised vehicle owners to carry all necessary documents and comply with traffic and legal regulations.
The police also appealed to the public to cooperate with law enforcement agencies and immediately report any suspicious activities or individuals in their localities.
The cordon and search operation concluded peacefully with active participation from police personnel and cooperation from villagers.
