AP – Palnadu: A significant development has reportedly shaken the police department, with senior officials taking disciplinary action against Circle Inspector (CI) Chinna Mallaiah of Palnadu district.
According to available information, the officer has been Dismissed from service following allegations that include rape, dereliction of duty, and other instances of alleged misconduct. However, officials are yet to release a detailed public statement explaining the full circumstances behind the action.
Sources said that a case was registered against the CI at Vinukonda Police Station based on a complaint filed by a woman from Brahmanapalli village in Vinukonda mandal. The complainant alleged that the officer sexually assaulted her when she was alone at her residence.
The officer had also faced other allegations in the past, including reportedly threatening a political leader with a firearm in Karampudi and engaging in inappropriate activities at a farmhouse. These allegations had drawn public attention and reportedly prompted departmental scrutiny.
