Godavarikhani, Peddapalli District : Ramagundam MLA M.S. Raj Thakur announced that the Pochamma Temple located at the Main Chowrasta in Godavarikhani will be developed into a grand and modern place of worship with improved facilities for devotees.
The MLA visited the temple on Thursday, offered special prayers, and unveiled the model design for the proposed new temple building.
Speaking on the occasion, Raj Thakur said that nearly ₹40 lakh has been sanctioned through the Endowments Department for the temple’s development. He assured that the construction would be carried out with the highest quality standards and in accordance with the expectations of devotees.
“The Pochamma Temple is a symbol of the spiritual faith of the people in this region. We will build a magnificent temple equipped with modern amenities for devotees. There will be no compromise on the quality of construction, and if necessary, additional funds will be arranged to complete the project,” the MLA said.
He added that the temple would be developed into a prominent spiritual destination while preserving its traditional significance.
The event was attended by Ramagundam Mayor Mahankali Swamy, RG-1 General Manager Lalith Kumar, Corporation President Bonthala Rajesh, corporators, public representatives, party leaders, and devotees.
