Temperatures are rising steadily across Telangana as the summer heat begins to intensify. With scorching sunshine during the daytime, heat levels have increased significantly even in the first week of March, causing discomfort to people.
On Thursday, the highest temperature of 39°C was recorded in Mangapet of Mulugu district. Adilabad, Khammam and Jagtial districts recorded 38.9°C, while Mancherial recorded 38.7°C.
The Meteorological Department has warned that temperatures may rise further in the coming days. It advised elderly people and children to take necessary precautions to avoid heat-related health issues.
High temperatures were also recorded in districts such as Mulugu, Adilabad, Jagtial, Khammam, Mancherial, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Kumuram Bheem, Nagarkurnool and Nizamabad. Meanwhile, districts including Medchal-Malkajgiri, Hyderabad and Siddipet recorded temperatures around 37°C.
