Medak : Medak District Superintendent of Police (SP) D.V. Srinivasa Rao has appealed to the public to make use of the National Lok Adalat, which is being organized to provide speedy and cost-effective justice to citizens.
Speaking on the occasion, the SP said that the National Lok Adalat scheduled to be held on June 20 will provide an opportunity for the amicable settlement of various pending cases, including traffic challans, compoundable criminal cases, family disputes, civil disputes, and other matters that can be resolved through mutual consent.
He stated that resolving cases through Lok Adalat helps litigants avoid lengthy legal procedures while saving both time and money. He described the Lok Adalat as an excellent platform for settling pending disputes in courts through mutual understanding and compromise.
The SP advised citizens to contact the concerned courts, legal practitioners, or police officials for details regarding their cases and to take the necessary steps to have them considered for settlement during the Lok Adalat.
He further urged people from all sections of society to take advantage of this opportunity and resolve their disputes amicably through dialogue and consensus.
Emphasizing the importance of peaceful dispute resolution, the SP said, “An amicable settlement is a permanent solution.”
